How the GenLayer program works

Incentivized testnet (Asimov) runs a transparent point system that rewards professional validators for active participation across network operations, testing activities, ecosystem and community contributions, and educational content, as GenLayer progresses through pre-mainnet testnet stages toward mainnet.

How to participate, step by step

Register as a validator for the GenLayer incentivized testnet (validator program is aimed at experienced blockchain infrastructure operators)

Run a validator node and participate in Optimistic Democracy consensus (leader/validator selection, commit-and-reveal voting, staking)

Take part in network testing activities and ecosystem/community contributions to earn points

Track progress via the GenLayer Portal as the network advances through testnet stages toward mainnet
