In Canton the submitting participant decomposes a Daml transaction into views — subtrees of the transaction tree, one per set of parties entitled to that part. The views are laid out in a Merkle-like tree in which everything a given recipient is not entitled to is present only as a hash, each view is encrypted under a key derived from a fresh per-transaction seed, and the encrypted views are multicast through the synchronizer's sequencer only to the participants hosting an informee of that view. From the hashes a recipient can reconstruct exactly its own projection of the transaction and nothing beyond it.
The infrastructure is outside the privacy set by construction.
On a fully replicated chain, integrity is bought with visibility: every node re-executes every transaction, so every node sees every transaction.
