How the Mode Network program works

Users stake MODE tokens or Balancer Pool Tokens (from the 80/20 MODE-ETH liquidity pool) to receive veMODE/veBPT governance voting power. Each governance epoch (biweekly), a pool of 40,000 OP tokens is distributed among stakers who vote, based on stake amount and block range. Separately, users can earn protocol-level rewards by transacting with protocols that receive OP incentives through Mode governance.

Acquire MODE tokens or deposit into the 80/20 MODE-ETH Balancer pool to obtain BPT

Stake MODE or BPT on Mode's governance platform to receive veMODE or veBPT

Vote with veMODE/veBPT during a governance epoch on which protocols receive incentives

Claim the biweekly share of 40,000 OP via the Hedgey campaign links listed on the Rewards page (or let the AI Terminal claim automatically)

Separately, transact with OP-incentivized protocols listed on Merkl to earn protocol-level rewards
