About Cato Networks

Cato Networks is a Tel Aviv-based network security company founded in 2015 by Shlomo Kramer, a co-founder of Checkpoint and Imperva, and Gur Shatz, a co-founder of Incapsula. The company's Cato SASE Cloud platform combines SD-WAN, managed security services and a global private backbone into a single cloud service, supporting more than 73 points of presence across over 150 countries.

Cato has added threat hunting, managed detection and response, and cloud access security broker capabilities over time, and in September 2025 it acquired the AI security startup Aim Security after crossing $300 million in annual recurring revenue. The company has been named a Leader in Gartner's Magic Quadrant for SASE Platforms for three years running.
