No-KYC Crypto Trading in Norway: What Actually Works (2026)

AVAILABLE22 platforms SIGN-UPEmail, X or a wallet CRYPTOLegal

22 platforms sign a trader in Norway up with an email, an X account or a wallet, and none of them asks for identity documents before the first trade. A fiat on-ramp still verifies identity, so the document step moves to the on-ramp.

Rails that work without a local bank account

Routes that start from crypto you already hold stay document-free.

Rail
Note
Status
Vippsfunding rail
Norway's dominant mobile payment app, tied to a bank account and BankID; acceptance is a venue-by-venue decision.
LIMITS
Bank transfer (SEPA/domestic NOK)funding rail
The default route for funding an exchange account from a Norwegian bank.
WORKS
BankID-verified bank loginfunding rail
BankID is the near-universal Norwegian e-identification method underpinning bank logins, but whether a venue uses it depends on the venue.
LIMITS
Credit/debit cardfunding rail
Card funding of a crypto purchase is an issuer decision, with no regulatory prohibition on it.
LIMITS
USDT P2Pfunding rail
No prohibition on person-to-person crypto transfer; the tax authority treats it as a realisation, so the risk is counterparty risk.
WORKS

Identity verification is a legal duty on the provider. The amendments to the Money Laundering Act implementing TFR II place crypto-asset service providers under the anti-money-laundering rules on the same footing as traditional payment service providers, and add a reporting duty; TFR II also requires information to accompany transfers of certain crypto-assets.

Open the ticket on any Canborsa market

Crypto, gold and other commodities, US shares, pre-IPO names and indices sit in one book. The ticket shows the live price, the current funding rate and that market's max leverage.

Choose Buy / Long, then set size and leverage

A $1,000 position at 5x uses $200 of collateral. Higher leverage moves the liquidation price closer to your entry: your exposure is the position size, whatever margin you posted. Set a stop-loss before you walk away.

Frequently asked questions

What does no-KYC mean?›

It describes how a venue signs a trader up: an email, an X account or a wallet, with no identity documents before the first trade. It says nothing about the fiat step, where an on-ramp can still ask for them.

Do I owe tax if the venue never asked who I am?›

Yes. In Norway: 22 percent capital income tax on gains from virtual assets, plus wealth tax. Virtual assets such as cryptocurrency, digital tokens and other digital values count as property (formuesobjekter) for tax purposes and all income from them is taxable.

Which networks does Canborsa accept deposits on?›

USDC on Canton, Robinhood Chain, Ethereum, Base, BNB Chain or Arbitrum.

What are Canborsa’s fees?›

0.07% per side, 0.14% round-trip.
