Vest is a perpetuals exchange on Base. Some of its published fee and funding documentation carries over from an earlier product, Vest Exchange, which the current Vest Markets platform has superseded.
Listed markets span crypto, equities, ETFs, indices, commodities and forex across 88 contracts, and trading fees vary by session: equities and forex trade fee-free during their standard market hours and pick up a fee outside them, while crypto carries a flat per-side fee at all times. No explicit identity-verification requirement is stated in its Terms of Service.
Funding is calculated and settled continuously, with the trading interface showing only an eight-hour average for readability. The rate combines the gap between the perpetual price and a spot index with a small fixed interest component held inside a narrow cap, and funding premiums are not charged during weekend trading hours.

Vest signs traders in with a browser wallet, and the venue is non-custodial.
Up to 50x on listed markets.
Vest names 8 restricted jurisdictions in its terms.
