Buying, holding and selling crypto-assets as a retail investor is unrestricted, and market abuse in crypto-assets is prosecuted as an administrative offence under sections 13 and following of the MiCA-VVG, with fines up to EUR 5 million for individuals and EUR 15 million or 15 percent of annual turnover for legal persons.
