What the law actually says

Is Bitcoin trading legal in Kazakhstan?

Kazakhstan is not a country where crypto is simply legal or simply banned: holding it is unregulated, but the venue you use it on is tightly enclosed, and the enclosure moved again in 2026. The Law on Digital Assets splits digital assets into digital financial assets (asset-backed, securities-like) and 'unsecured digital assets' — bitcoin and everything like it.

What the contract is

The contract itself does not change by geography: a BTC perpetual settles in USDC everywhere.
