Restricted to retail clients, permanently, and by a pre-crypto instrument. Finanstilsynet made the ESMA-style restriction on the marketing, distribution and sale of contracts for difference to retail clients permanent in Denmark with effect from 1 August 2019, issued under Article 42 of MiFIR.
The restriction is a package: leverage caps at position opening, margin close-out rules, negative balance protection, a ban on trading incentives and a mandatory standardised risk warning. It is a restriction - a compliant firm may still sell CFDs to a Danish retail client within those limits.
A perpetual on GRAM tracks price and does not confer ownership of the underlying — the same contract mechanics apply in every jurisdiction; what differs by country is legal status and funding rails.

Taxed as personal income: the tax authority states a crypto gain can mean tax of up to 53 percent, and that relief for a loss amounts to 26 percent of the loss. Gains and losses may not be offset against each other - they go in two separate boxes on the annual statement - so a year of round-tripping can produce tax on the gains with only partial relief for the losses.
