Is Nasdaq 100 (XYZ100) trading legal in Italy?

Holding and trading crypto is lawful for an Italian resident; MiCAR governs who may provide the service. Legislative Decree 129/2024 implemented Regulation (EU) 1114/2023 in Italy and named CONSOB and Banca d'Italia as the competent authorities, splitting their remits by token type — CONSOB supervises conduct, transparency, orderly trading and client protection for crypto-asset service providers, Banca d'Italia supervises risk containment, capital stability and sound management.
