Access rules in Malaysia

Malaysian residents can buy US stocks by opening an account with a broker that offers US market access, such as Moomoo, which offers zero-commission trading on US stocks, ETFs and options. Since January 1, 2022, foreign dividend income received in Malaysia by a resident is taxable.
