What is Reya?

Reya is a perpetuals exchange settled on its own Reya Network, with paths on Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism and Polygon. It has operated since 2024, and its documentation describes funding and margin balances in its own settlement currency, rUSD.

The market list is crypto perpetuals only, across 52 contracts, with maker and taker fees currently priced the same and a fee tier that steps down with 14-day trading volume. No explicit identity-verification requirement is stated in available Terms of Service documentation.

Reya's funding does not settle on a clock: the gap between the pool price and a reference price sets the speed at which the funding rate moves, so the rate drifts continuously over time and the accrued amount is booked into a position every time that speed changes. The platform displays this as an hourly figure for convenience, but that is a normalised view of a continuously moving rate.
