What is Ondo?

Ondo Perps is a perpetuals exchange with deposit paths on Ethereum and Arbitrum, launched in 2026. It is backed by the ONDO token.

The market list centers on equities, ETFs, indices and commodities alongside crypto, across 52 contracts, with fees currently running at a promotional discount below the venue's base published rate. Its terms describe identity and anti-money-laundering documentation as something Ondo Perps may request, with access subject to suspension for accounts that do not provide it.

Funding is peer-to-peer, with the protocol taking no cut, and settles once an hour as an installment of a rate quoted over an eight-hour window. The rate combines a short-term premium sampled every minute with a small fixed daily interest charge, and is set to zero for any hour where the underlying price feed has too large a gap between samples.
