What is Helix?

Helix is a perpetuals exchange built on the Injective chain. Its active perpetual markets are quoted in USDC, replacing an earlier generation of USDT-quoted contracts that are now marked as paused.

Listed markets cover crypto, equities, commodities, forex, indices and pre-IPO names across 285 active perpetual contracts, with taker fees discounted on a VIP tier ladder and no maker discount at any tier. No explicit identity-verification requirement is stated in its Terms of Service.

Funding settles once an hour, at the same top-of-the-hour timestamp across every active market on the venue, and is paid directly between long and short positions. The rate is built from the gap between the contract and index price plus a small interest component, held inside an hourly cap; pre-IPO and index perpetuals carry a tighter cap than the rest of the market list.

The relationship becomes permanent as soon as that signature is confirmed, and cannot be changed afterward.
